January: What a start to an amazing year. We were able to enjoy Disneyland before the holiday season ended. So nice.
The best part of the month was when William and I took a weekend trip to Washington. Yes, just for the weekend. It was nice to see my mom and family.
February: William and I enjoyed going to Disneyland a few weekends this month. I just love the Disneyland yearly pass.
March: Wow, can you believe it? I started to blog. William set me up and helped his dear old mom learn how to blog. Guess what one of my first blogs was? Ha ha. It was 40 days to Ireland.
April: I was so excited, yea it was finally here. We went on my 2013 Christmas present from William to Ireland. The flights were long, but so worth it. On our first full day in Ireland we were in a we fender bender. That made me a little more nervous for William driving in Ireland. They drive on the opposite side of the road than us. Some of the roads were like one lane, but are two way traffic, scary.
I had such an awesome time in Ireland. The castles, scenic drives and don’t forget the SHEEP!!!
I loved the Blarney Castle best out of all the castles we saw.
Kilkenny Castle, Cashel, King John’s Castle, Bunratty Castle, Parke’s Castle, Kylemore Abbey.
The drive around the Ring Of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula were great. Oh, but the Cliffs of Moher were even better.
May: We were able to see Trim Castle before we left Ireland.
William and I were back home in time for Brian’s birthday.
I had a very good Mother’s Day. The boys sure do spoil me. William made a breakfast for me. The boys took me to Red Robin for lunch. I also got a special gift from William and Brian.
June: William and I were able to see Becca graduate High School. I am so proud of her. We also spend a weekend at the Wyndham Indio for Becca’s graduation party.Â
We went to Disneyland and finally Big Thunder Mountain was open. It has been years since we were on this ride. Well worth it.
July: William had a fun filled 4th of July party. The food was great and don’t forget his fireworks show. Wow, so much fun.
I had a real good birthday weekend at the Wyndham Resort in Indio. The boys and Jan’s family took me out to supper. We played Apples to Apples and opened gifts.
William made me a fabulous birthday breakfast.
Had a nice lunch at Olive Garden.
August: William my first born turned 30 this year. Wow, how old does that make me?
William had a work conference in Seattle Washington. I was able to get off work and go with him. We flew First Class. How sweet!
It was good to see my mom again. We celebrated mom and Eden’s birthday. Enjoyed dinner with family. The next day we went to Seaside, Oregon with them before we headed up to Seattle.
After William’s conference we went back to visit my mom. We went to Mt. St. Helens for the day.
Labor Day weekend we went to Disneyland. William and I decided to ride Splash Mountain. Oh that was a mistake. We got soooo wet.
September: Spent the weekend in Indio at the Wyndham resort to celebrate Jan’s birthday. Had a nice morning in Joshua Tree National Park.
Nice sunset in Encinitas.
October: Halloween at Disneyland, yes we were there again.
William and I went to Big Bear Lake and spent the night up there at the WorldMark Resort. Very nice place.
November: Enjoyed the weekend at the WorldMark Resort in Indio. Very nice sunset.
Brian went to Joshua Tree National Park with us.
Disneyland starting to bring Christmas to the park. I love it.
We took a Friday off and went to St. George, Utah for a weekend. Stayed at the WorldMark. Very nice place. Enjoyed the day at Zion National Park. We had to take the shuttle in the park. Did some hiking. It tired me out, not as young as I used to be. Ha ha.
December: What a busy month. One last time to spend it at the Disneyland park for the year. Christmas time is so cool. I love all the decorations.
We spent Christmas week in St. George, Utah. We enjoyed going to several parks. Dixie National Forest, Kolob Canyon, Red Canyon.
I really enjoyed the day we went to Bryce Canyon National Park. It started to snow. I thought we were going to to leave before we saw the park, but it let up enough for us to stay. It was so cold out. I loved seeing the snow covered canyons.
Christmas in St. George, Utah. We had a very nice Christmas. William cooked the turkey for Brian and me. Too bad we did not have a white Christmas.
Spent the night in Las Vegas.
Christmas with Jan’s Family.
I spent my New Year’s Eve finishing up my 2014 blog. This was not an easy task for me, but thanks to Williams help I have finished it. Just in time for the New Year.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year.
